Sarah Golden
Sarah Golden is a conservationist passionate about improving the health of our Oceans. With a BA from Stony Brook University in Environmental Studies and a MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, she is eager to use her knowledge to inspire advocates to speak up for an equitable and sustainable world.

Clare Dana
Clare received a B.S. in marine science and environmental studies from Stony Brook University. Most of her background is in shellfish and macro-algae research, but she is currently at Florida Fish and Wildlife conducting research on mangroves. She is also an AAUS scientific diver and nature guide!

Faith Keller
Faith has her B.S. in marine science from Stony Brook University. She is currently with Florida Fish and Wildlife helping with sea turtle research! She is a PADI rescue diver and AAUS scientific diver. On her free time she loves shelling!

Krutarth Gandi
Krutarth is currently pursuing his Master’s in Sustainability Management. Driven by a deep passion for protecting the vast and vital part of our planet—the oceans—his work focuses on researching ocean health, marine biodiversity, and their connection to global climate systems. Through storytelling and advocacy, Krutarth highlights the importance of marine conservation and the role of Marine Protected Areas. As he continues to grow in the field, he is focused on building strong communication and writing skills to better educate and inspire others to care for the ocean and our planet.

Sara Cheris
Sara (she/her) is a Science Educator who is passionate about making science accessible, inclusive, and exciting for all learners. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Youth Studies. Sara is passionate about empowering young people with knowledge about healthy ecosystems, believing that early education in environmental science is key to building a more scientifically literate society and a more resilient planet.

Cecily is from Brooklyn and went to Kenyon College. She recently completed a Master’s degree from Columbia University in Sustainability Management.

Alexandra Uszynski
Alex holds a B.S in Marine Sciences from Stony Brook University. They have a strong background in shellfish, macroalgae, and coastal ecosystem research, paired with extensive hands on experience in coral reef conservation and restoration. A PADI Divemaster and multidisciplinary creator, Alex blends science, storytelling, and field expertise to inspire action. Above all else, they believe that protecting our oceans is one of the most important commitments we can make for the future.
